    Which schema types are supported?

    Article, NewsArticle, BlogPosting, FAQPage, HowTo, Product (with Offer, Review and AggregateRating), LocalBusiness with 20 subtypes such as Dentist, Restaurant and Store, Organization, Person, BreadcrumbList, WebSite, WebPage, Event, JobPosting, Recipe, VideoObject, Course, SoftwareApplication, Review, Service, ItemList and QAPage.

    Where do I put JSON-LD on my page?

    Inside a script tag with type application/ld+json, either in the head or the body. Tick 'Wrap in script tag' to copy it ready to paste.

    Does valid schema guarantee rich results?

    No. Valid markup makes your page eligible, but Google decides whether to show rich results. The markup must also match what's visible on the page.

    What does the validator check?

    It checks that the JSON parses, that the type is recognized, and that the fields this tool treats as required are present and correctly formatted — URLs, dates, numbers and currency codes.
